Company History
Jokes by Post was formed in early 2001 by a keen “Practical Joker” who wanted to bring all those childhood jokes back and in one place for all to enjoy, starting with just 50 products we soon realised that people wanted more, so by 2006 we stocked over 1000 products. But for the founder this wasn’t enough so a pledge was made to be the one stop supplier of all that is “Party” since that pledge was made Jokes by Post now stock some 16,000 products and offer worldwide delivery which is fast, secure & reliable.
In 2007 our mission statement became:
‘Offer the largest selection of quality products at an affordable price and to offer a fast, secure & reliable service with a hint of fun’
From the day the mission statement was born all decisions made must ensure that we comply with the statement.

· 2003 - Helium Balloons Launched
· 2004 - New Web Designer Comes on Board
· 2004 - New Website Launched
· 2005 - Some 800 Products Added
· 2005 - Madam & Dama Join The Team (Our Office Pet Tortoise’s)
· 2006 - Product Range Increased To 1000
· 2007 - Simply by Post Became Operating Name
· 2008 - New Website Launched
· 2008 - 16000 Products Stocked
· 2009 - First Retail Outlet to open In Scotland Named “The Party Warehouse”
When Jokes by Post started we were an “Online Only” retailer but soon realised that with 16,000 products to showcase we needed a retail outlet, so in 2009 we are opening our first warehouse, aptly named “The Party Warehouse™” All our best sellers will be stocked in this location, but if we don’t have it in store we will have it delivered free next day!
So what makes us different at Jokes by Post?
Well, for one we are 100% committed to our Customers and we believe we offer the best Customer Service in the business, but if you disagree please let us know!, how do we achieve this? Well we are still family run and have family values, believing that we should treat our customers as if they were part of the family.
We offer a wide selection of products that are ever growing and talking of our products we always test our products before we place them on our site for sale, we run with the policy of ‘If it doesn’t make us laugh or isn’t up to much’ we don’t stock it!, likewise if you contact us, how can we sell or discuss a product we haven’t tried ourselves?
What’s more we try to keep stock of all our items all of the time. If the products displayed on our site we will have stock of that item. If the product is out of stock then this will be displayed as such on our site.
We ensure that all our products are advertised as accurately as possible.

We hold stock of all products, which ensures that your order is dispatched within 24 hours and our system is one of the best in the industry updating stock figures every 2 seconds to ensure we don’t sell what we don’t have.
We offer the lowest possible postage charges that we can, we never try to make a profit out of our postage charges and ensure that all orders are packaged safely & securely.
Ok you’re a Joke site so why do you sell ‘Adult Products’?
Well, we listened to our Customers feedback and this was a much-requested addition to the site so have added some ‘Interesting’ products to the site!
Our intention is not to offend but to offer the widest selection of products possible.

Good question, Jokes by Post is now part of our larger group known as “Simply by Post”, we operate from 5 websites and 1 retail unit.
Our intention is to continue to search the world for more fantastic products and open further stores when the time is right,
